So my final exams for this semester start on Monday and I should be studying, but at this moment I am drinking a hot coffee with Peppermint Mocha creamer (YUM!) while watching the first snowfall of the season through my window. For the first time I appreciate the fact that I am on the third floor instead of the basement room of the past three years becaus it gives me such a great view of the beutiful snow blanketing the campus. Unfortunately, I left my camera at home after thanksgiving week and I miss it now. I love to take pictures of the first snow! But there will be more.

I am ready for the semester to be over and to spend a wonderful Christmas with my family.

I am also excited that my hard work is paying off and the Madrigal Dinner that I have been planning for my student theater club is going to be happening over Valentines weekend! Now I just have to finish the script, get the food, cast the actors and musicians . . . .

It is a lot to think about but I am very much ready to go home, bake Christmas cookies with my dad and sister, Decorate christmas trees (yes that is plural, we have six), enjoy the fireplace. and sing Christmas music around the pianno with my whole family (we have a whole 4 part choir when we are all together). I will take a lot of pictures since this is my first Christmas with my Digital SLR.

Well, I better get back to studying!
